Mastopexy
We know that feeling good about your body also means being comfortable and balanced.
At COLSURGERIES, we provide support with care and professionalism, offering you a safe and personalized solution that helps you feel more free, lighter, and happier with your body.

What is Mastopexy?
Mastopexy, or breast lift, is an aesthetic surgery that aims to lift and firm sagging breasts, repositioning the areola and removing excess skin, without needing to increase or reduce breast volume (although it can be combined with implants for greater projection).
It is indicated for women who have experienced breast sagging due to pregnancies, lactation, weight loss, or natural aging.

How is it performed?
It is performed in the operating room under general anesthesia, lasting approximately 2 to 3 hours. The surgeon makes incisions that allow for the repositioning of breast tissue and the areola, removing excess skin to achieve a firmer and more youthful bust.

Periareolar
(around the areola)

Vertical
(around the areola and vertical towards the inframammary fold)

Anchor-shaped
(around the areola, vertical downwards, and along the inframammary fold)
There are several techniques depending on the degree of sagging (mammary ptosis), and at COLSURGERIES, the most suitable one is selected for each patient, always prioritizing a natural result and minimal scar visibility.

Mastopexy - Recovery
Recovery is progressive. Discomfort is mild and is controlled with medication. The patient can resume light activities after 10 days, avoiding sudden movements and exercise for 4 to 6 weeks.
The results are visible from the first few weeks, with a progressive improvement in contour, symmetry, and breast firmness. After 2 to 3 months, the bust acquires its final shape.
At COLSURGERIES, we provide comprehensive support, from surgical planning to your recovery at home, with attentive care, continuous follow-up, and the backing of highly qualified professionals.
