Yes, but they are placed in strategic areas and tend to fade over time. The size and location vary depending on the technique used.
What type of implants are used, and what are the differences?
In glute implant procedures, we use medical-grade cohesive silicone implants, specially designed for this area of the body. They are available in round or anatomical (oval) shapes, allowing them to be adapted to your anatomy and the desired aesthetic result.

Postoperative Care and Recovery
When can I return to the gym?
Light activities can be resumed in 3–4 weeks. High-impact exercise can begin from week 6 or as directed by your physician.
When can I sleep on my stomach?
Generally after week 6 or 8, once there is no longer swelling or sensitivity.
What precautions should I take during recovery?
Avoid lifting heavy objects, sleep on your back, keep incisions dry, and follow all medical instructions precisely.
Will I lose sensation in my glutes?
It is possible to experience temporary reduced sensation, especially if a lift or reduction was performed. In most cases, sensation returns over time.
What type of underwear should I wear after surgery?
A wire-free surgical bra with firm support and no seams is recommended for at least 4–6 weeks. Special compression garments for the glutes, seamless and without wires, providing firm and uniform support, should also be worn. They should cover the entire treated area to help control swelling, aid tissue adaptation, and protect the results. Ideally, these garments should be used for at least 4 to 6 weeks, following your surgeon’s instructions.
When will I see the final results?
Initial results are noticeable immediately, but the final outcome is seen at 3–6 months as the swelling subsides.

What is the recommended time to travel without risk of thrombosis?
