Gluteal Implants
Feeling incredible also means achieving a figure that reflects your strength, style, and confidence.
At COLSURGERIES we support you with safety, care, and experience to achieve glutes with greater volume, firmness, and shape, using certified gluteal implants and safe techniques adapted to your body.

What are gluteal implants?
Gluteal implants are solid silicone prostheses, specifically designed to give volume and projection to the gluteal area.
This procedure is indicated for people who want to enhance their glutes but do not have enough body fat for a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift), or simply prefer a solution with more defined and predictable results.
The objective is to achieve a more harmonious figure, enhancing the gluteal area with lasting results that are proportional to your body.
At COLSURGERIES, the approach is personalized and safe, always seeking a natural and aesthetic result.

How is it performed?
It is performed in an authorized operating room under general anesthesia and lasts between 2 and 3 hours. The procedure has three main phases:

Personalized surgical design
The surgeon evaluates the current shape of your glutes and defines the ideal size, shape, and position of the implant based on your anatomy.

Implant placement
A discreet incision is made in the intergluteal fold, through which the implant is inserted into the gluteus maximus muscle (intramuscular technique) for greater naturalness, stability, and a lower risk of complications.

Closure and final shaping
It is carefully sutured and compression garments are placed to control swelling and promote the shaping of the area.
At COLSURGERIES, we use high-quality certified implants and work with expert plastic surgeons who prioritize the safety and aesthetic outcome of each patient.

Gluteal Implant – Recovery
Recovery is progressive. It is normal to feel pressure, swelling, and sensitivity in the area during the first few days.
It is recommended to avoid sitting directly on the glutes for at least 2 weeks and to use a special cushion if necessary.
Most patients can resume light activities between 10 and 14 days. Intense exercise should be postponed for at least 6 weeks or until advised by a doctor.
The results are noticeable from the start, but they stabilize between 8 and 12 weeks, when the swelling has decreased and the body has adapted to the implant.
At COLSURGERIES, we support you throughout the entire process with medical follow-up during your stay and virtual assistance when you return to your country.

Initial Recovery
The patient can resume light daily activities between 10 and 14 days. It is essential to avoid sitting directly on the glutes during the first few weeks.
Return to Physical Exercise
Intense exercise, especially for the lower body, should be postponed for at least 6 weeks.
Recommended Stay in Colombia

Visible Results
The volume is immediately noticeable. The final shape is visible between weeks 8 and 12, when the swelling subsides and the implant adapts.
When can I sit normally?
During the first 2 weeks, it is not recommended to sit directly. From week 3, a special cushion can be used, and a full return to normal sitting usually occurs between weeks 6 and 8.
Type of Implants Used
Solid and semi-solid silicone implants, specifically designed for the gluteal area, are used. These implants are more durable than those used in other areas of the body, as they must withstand constant pressure from sitting and moving. There are different shapes and sizes that adapt to each patient's anatomy and preferences.
Possible types of incision
In the intergluteal fold, which allows the scar to be discreet and not very visible.
