Timing varies by procedure (times listed here are approximate; each case is different and should be evaluated by your assigned physician):

- Mentoplasty: 1 to 2 hours

What type of anesthesia is used?

Are drains placed, and do they cause pain?
In surgeries such as a facelift or submental liposuction, drains are placed to prevent fluid accumulation. They may cause mild discomfort but are easily removed in the following days.
Will there be visible scars?
The incisions are placed in natural folds or discreet areas (such as behind the ears or inside the nose). With proper healing and care, they tend to become imperceptible.

• Blepharoplasty: noticeable improvement from 10 days, final results between 2 and 3 months.
• Facelift: visible changes from 3-4 weeks, full settling at 3-6 months.
