At COLSURGERIES, we accompany you with warmth, safety, and personalized attention, so you can have an aesthetic experience in Medellín where your confidence and well-being are always the most important things.

What is aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty is a surgery that not only improves the appearance of your nose, but can also help you breathe better. It is a procedure that seeks to harmonize your face while respecting your features, with natural and functional results.
In many cases, this surgery is performed to correct the shape of the nose, refine the tip, reduce the bridge, or improve facial symmetry. In others, it focuses on solving respiratory problems such as nasal septum deviations or sleeping difficulties.
At COLSURGERIES, we understand that making this decision is important, which is why we accompany you every step of the way, from the first video consultation until your return home, with close and professional attention.

How is it performed?
Rhinoplasty is performed in the operating room under general anesthesia or sedation and usually lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours, depending on the type of correction you need.
There are two techniques:

Closed
No visible scars, ideal for more subtle changes.

Open
Allows for greater precision and visualization; recommended for more complex cases.
During the surgery, the surgeon can reshape the bone and cartilage structure, improve breathing, refine the tip, or correct deviations. Everything is adapted to your anatomy, your desires, and your well-being.
At COLSURGERIES, we work with certified surgeons and authorized clinics, ensuring a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment.

Aesthetic and Functional Rhinoplasty - Recovery
We know that after facial surgery, it's important to feel well-cared for.
In the first few days, it is normal to have swelling, a feeling of nasal congestion, or some bruising around the eyes. You will use an external splint (and in some cases, internal packing) during the first few days to protect the results.
Most of our patients can resume light activities between 7 and 10 days, and the results begin to be noticeable from the beginning. However, the final result is consolidated between 12 and 24 weeks, once the swelling has completely subsided.
During your stay in Medellín, you will have in-person medical accompaniment, and once you return to your country, we will continue with you virtually. Because for us, your peace of mind and safe recovery are an essential part of your transformation.
